    I got lucky and found the perfect box by accident.  The plate is about 1/4 inch longer than the box, I left the overhang on the neck side.  Used a dremel router-type tool to cut out the pickup hole.

    LPGs are sure  hot lately.  Looks right.  You found a cigar box that fits a license plate?!
