  • Thanks for the encouraging comments Kale! I’m more of a techie at heart than a woodworker. But I do like the look of wood and the simplicity of CBGs. I stay away from the toxic exotic stuff though. 3D printing is a way for me to be creative and experiment, and then easily recreate stuff I like without all the work. I try to keep the look simple and yet unique. The drilling guide I 3D printed allows me to get this sound holes look without any measuring. I just tape down the guide and drill the holes with a hand drill. Quick and easy. When I get bored with this pattern I’ll try something else.

  • Thanks for the kind words Uncle John! Picked up the box recently at an antique store, not an antique and overpriced, but … it had a very thin bottom, so I had to have it. Was not disappointed.
