Landfill find.

A young friend found this at the landfill and thought I would like it. He was right. The saddle area has pulled up and it has a belly under the bridge. Still, with a tail piece, it will make a handsome slide guitar. Thanks Terry!

  • LOL, Dave.

  • Six strings? Uncle John? Are you sure you can handle it? It's got curves too.... Great gift. Go John go...
  • Good job, Michael.   This one cleaned up nicely and with a tailpiece, plays and sounds pretty nice as an open G slide guitar.

  • Recently repaired a Yamaha guitar with the same problem. Managed to get glue between the struts and the front where they had parted, put a piece of 1/2" ply inside and a wood block over the bridge. Screwed these together trough bridge peg holes to clamp the struts to the front while the glue set. It's worth a try !
