A renter’s firing at our studio offered up some wonderful carbon trap slides and control knobs and one sound hole insert.

    No Andries. It’s carbon trap porcelain, with Shino glaze, in reduction. The reds come from a Drop of copper green called oxide. Known as Ox blood, copper red,
