  • Thanks for noticing the color connection Uncle John, strictly accidental! This is the longest scale length I have ever played. As you know yardsticks and plastic frets are light, so it’s not hefty just LONG!

  • Simple and good.  The red Home Depot yard stick compliments the red on the box.  LONG SCALE!

  • Thanks BrianQ! I’m pretty used to my 20.1” scale chugger and this neck is even longer than the short scale basses I have made for myself at 28.25”, so it’s got a different feel. Those long fishing line strings are quite a contrast to short steel string strings and have a tone all their own. I’ll be putting the new chugger through the paces and see how it goes. It looks promising so far!
