I saw this pic and knew it was a GLENN. Are the side ways pieces to help keep it on your lap or (and / or) to set up on a table? Can you make a good diddley out of a Beets can?
BrianQ, yep, one of the fun things about these sort of builds is just that- the wall or table acts as a resonator and the volume is increased, tone gets thicker and usually real nice! Thx, -Glenn

I built one jus like it, I hold it against the wall & it sounds like it’s amped up!
