Curly maple neck with food coloring as stain and semi gloss poly rubbed out with steel wool. The box is also curly maple (cause I had some) with 1/4" birch plywood front and rear panels. And a ton of spray paint and gloss spar poly. One piezo glued to the inside of the front panel. My first tone and volume pots! And they work! Originally I wanted to make a guitar out of a John Deere lunch box. But the John Deere lunchbox was way too flimsy. So I built my own, but I tried to stay with the "style" of the original lunchbox.
