No worries on the conversions. I can do that, but finding all that info by doing searches on the internet would have taken me... I don't wanna think about it. Thank you very much for all of this. I have at least six projects piled up on me due to a lengthy hiatus. Gonna try a lot of these.
Thanks again! I was beginning to get a little bored with straight boiled linseed oil. (grins)
Thanx Southern Ray, I probably should have explained the methods and recipes a bit more, the first two are the Sam Maloof Finish, where after applying the number of necessary coats of the Poly Oil Recipe, it is then given a final 2 coats of the Sam Maloof Paste Wax Recipe.
The next three are Stand Alone Paste Wax Finish's ie; use on its own, applying the number of Coats you need to get a Finish your happy with.
I think the Stumpy Nubs Finish is self explanatory, using Boiled Linseed Oil and one of the 3 Stand Alone Paste Wax Mixtures.
The Ratios I used are in Metric, so I guess you'll have to convert them to US Imperial, the quantities I mixed have more to do with the containers I had on hand, so if you want, you can increase or decrease those quantities to suit your own needs. :-)
Thanks for these, AGP #! I'll try these in the future, but do I understand you correctly that you just wipe with linseed oil, then wipe down and polish the paste wax in, or mix first? What ratio? Thank you in advance!
Thanks Southern Ray, A Basic Paste Wax is a mixture of Bolied Linseed Oil and Beeswax, you can buy ready made products, but I prefer to make my own, I recently made a Batch of DIY different mixtures, which was pretty easy, the Pics below show the Recipes and Sites I used, which were found on Utube :-)

Cool! I have been wanting to try the paste wax., partly because you and others seem to like it so much. Anything I should be aware of?
I recently done a couple of builds using the Good Old Linseed Oil, followed by a Coat of Paste Wax, a simple easy finish :-)
