Iowa LPG.

You've likely seen it before. This is my go-to for plugged in play. It is usually just plain fun. My Swamp Witch is close behind. I can do a bit more with a 4 string like the LPG.

  • UJ-- did you repaint the plate? Very, very nice

  • Thanks, Gary.  Yes it is a through neck - but more of a an extended heel through neck.  I hope the photo helps.

You are welcome, Bob.  Thanks, too.7148404479?profile=RESIZE_710x

  • Many thanks for providing the neck details Unc J.  Great vid too!

  • Nice display, Unk!  So it's not a thru-neck?  I need to get back to building!

  • Brian, I think my hair is coming back and I feel a youthful vigor.

Thanks, Denbo.  It is a fave.  I only plug in about once a week, but when I do, the LPG gets it done.

Thanks, Bob.  That neck is on inch oak with a one inch oak heel beginning at the 12th fret and going thorough the box.  The main neck ends at the box.  There is a 1/4 inch oak fingerboard.  It was fretless for a while and then I added 3 frets.  I can do easy finger chords in G and slide it too.  It is a bit heavy.

  • That's an eye-catcher of an LPG!  Oozes character.  Like the photo composition. It's like you're personified in the picture...  May I ask what is the neck made from?

  • Complete with the magic elixir :D

  • No worries, AGP.  It is empty now.

  • All the components for the Video I just watched, But!, I'm a bit worried about what's in the little bottle, "Uncle Johns Snake Oil"  ??   :-D
