Inside the Workshop

A few months ago, an enterprise names "Joe's Work Shop" opened up near my office. You can pay a membership fee for access to all sorts of woodworking equipment. I still do lots on my CBG builds with hand tools, but it's nice to have access to some of this equipment and plenty of space!

  • Yep - agree totally!  It's nice to be able to make the bigger mess in this facility, saving the detail stuff for home - just as you said, John!   And Uncle - this pace is about a city block away from my office.  Really no muss, no fuss - - and if I only have 30-60 minutes free, it's right there!

  • I would love that concept near my home! I would love a place I could go so I could cut boards and do the big ruff and hard work and then do the finishing and detail work at home...I hope that place has many years of success....America needs more places like that, it would be great for kids and teens...they need to learn shop and craft skills that our country has forgotten....John
