  • Light you say. That is one of the things that give it better acoustic sound. A thin top doesnt hurt. This top will be on the thick side so it will probably be semi acoustic. Especially after I add pick guards, sound hole covers and a magnetic pickup. If you are building an acoustic lighter is better.

  • I was waiting on you John. I can always rely on you to know quality work when you see it. Thanks as always

  • Very nice.  Strong and light.

  • It is born of cbg building and a direct product from putting sticks in boxes to only realize it is in the way of a lot things.

  • I spent 3 years developing this neck mount and now I guess its my contribution to the nation. Maybe it has been done before I wouldnt know I did it on my own.

  • I will put a square non adjustable truss rod in it. Yes they are separate the two angle pieces make sure the neck are straight the other adjust the height and is support.

  • Are you going to use a truss rod on the neck

  • This looks good - so these are all separate pieces glued to the box?

  • It also has a better acoustic sound this way in my opinion.

  • Where the through the box design does not.
