  • Yupper, I have learned that too.  Got to have the string height coming off the tail piece adequately lower than the saddle for good sound.  Same as the angle off the nut must be sufficently downward to the tuners....   How come I know this and keep screwing up?  

    You have a fine git there.  Have fun playin and singin.

  • At first, I was able to use it as a tremelo. The tone was so much better when the hasp was closer to the wood, I decided to screw it down into place.
  • I agree with Uncle John that tail piece is a great look and very original..
  • good idea on the hasp tailpiece.
