glCould try a dab of glue and tooth picks to fill the holes. Cut off excess when glue dries and lightly sand to finish.
Actually, I was looking for the right small stainless screws to fill them in--which I could also use for fret markers on the side of the fret.
Just looks like a 'feature' - why not stick some acrylic rod inlay in there?
