Correct - I bought the cheapest bottle of crap watery lemonade from Aldi at 26p, the usual upholstery tacks and Uhu glue. Then with a mixture of hope and fear I zapped it .It sounds really loud and bright .Previously I found a Remo kids tambourine in a charity shop but it had a hideous cartoony design on it. I tried to cover it with black marker pen then masking tape but it just did not seem right. The tambourine is in fact the remnants of that with a plywood ring on top of it. The flange and head. resonator are a little loose and the bridge a little high but I can't be bothered to change it. Near perfect??? Make sure you don't hit the magnify button.

Super nice. Was that plastic like from a 2L bottle that you heated and tightened?? This thing looks nearly perfect to my eyes.
