  • Smashingly cool!

  • Coolness! I was gonna say that's one heavy hitter but I read your explanation takes it elsewhere, HA! Nice work Jonathan! -Glenn

  • Very cool! When do we get to see and hear the demo Jonathan?

  • LOL, first off look at the size of that mallet. If that was metal it would easily be 50-80lbs.  I actually designed a 3d printed mallet and printed it for the guitar.  Its actually hollow, and the ends screw off so I can store the bits (slide, picks, strings, etc,) in the body of the mallet.   As it is, the guitar is actually front heavy and tilts that way, so its extremely light and WAS awkward.  I ended up designing a guitar strap harness for it that goes on really easy, but is holds the guitar in place really well: kind like Dirty Harry's holster that Clint eastwood uses in the movies.   This is actually a challenge build I got to make a guitar using strictly parts from the hardware store: the frets are finishing nails, and the tuners are 1/4-20 screws and nuts10971032864?profile=RESIZE_710x

  • Haven’t seen one of these in a long time, what’s that feel like on your shoulder?
