  I'mgoing to leave it, the tuners are for a guitar made from a small grey goose box. I just got all itchy and wanted to do a fun quick build. My first guitar should be along shortly. Thank guys

  All of my one stringers have eyebolts for tuners. They hold the string tight just fine!

  A real nice old time classic canjo.  You maybe should leave it as it is and use the tuners for a new build.   About the best use of eyebolt tuners that I have seen.
