#01 my first guitar, finished yesterday.we don't smoke a lot of cigars over here , but the odd bottle of port at christmas ..just took it out to look at the pond..

  • i just did it that way,i'd been doodling and that was one of them i liked. it wasn't a c. box so i felt i could do as i pleased.it's a bit rough but i was impatient to see if icould do it.well it works and i'm quite pleased with it. cigar boxes are rarer that rockin' 'orse sh*t in these parts.#02 is coming on similar but with a twist,slow going at the mo' -what's the rush....thanks for the comment. john
  • It looks the business - how did that unusual body profile come about, was the box a sort of chamfered shape or did you decide to make it that way?

  • I think this is the first "archtop" CBG I've seen and I love it! Sort of like the Les Paul of CBG.
  • thanks godzilla and roadkill. cbn was a great help as i've never done anything like this before,the lart woodwork i did was last year when i put up 90ft of picket fence.next one will start when ifind an item that inspires the visualisation.
