    Nice to have friends with machinist abilities. Lucky guy John. Can't wait to see how you finish these beauties. Your rustic style really appeals to me. Like Picks Witches, using old wood and shaping it like this is wonderful.

    Dave, I hadn't thought of that. I have a few types, I'll check it out in the morning. If I can't fit it nicely to the shaft I have people at work that will help me out.

    Would be nice if a reel handle (crank) could be affixed to a button shaft of a guit tuner. Tricky....

    Thanks, I went to the tackle shop today for some bits and pieces. I got a few extra bits of bling. I have a fishing theme way of securing the strings but not sure yet about tuners? The 3 lures I will be using I made as well. Use to make and fish with them.  Still fishing but not making lures at the moment :)

    That fishing motif works great with that old dock or driftwood looking git.   Purty fretboard.
