I've decided to start putting my original artwork on my instruments as an added selling point. The Baron is my first. Red oak neck and fretboard painted black. Red oak, coffin shaped bridge with a bone saddle carved into a... bone. 23" scale. Piezo pickup. I think I'll use this graphic again, once this guitar sells. Seems to gather a lot of interest.

  • Gary:  I think for this one I did a spray on sealer.  Don't recall the brand right now.

  • Oops. "0n top" not in top!
  • Sounds like a great technique. Do you coat it with anything in top. Like polyurethane?
  • Gary:  On this one I made the label the size of the whole box lid.  Then I used a 3M spray adhesive to affix it.  Make sure to mask the guitar in places you don't want overspray.

  • I really like the bridge, and the graphic. But the saddle is a very nice touch indeed.
