  • Yes, I think any future scarf joined necks will be off-kilter like this one.  I have about 4 feet of that maple board left just waiting to be cutted up.

    This may be my very favorite guitar for looks so far.  Not my favorite to play yet, but it is a beauty.

  • You got it Ron.  For the peg head I used a maple board about 2x wider than the neck.  I cut off the lower angle in line with the neck and rasped down the upper side to curve and meet at the nut.  I like it a ton.

  • Yep. I dig the twisted headstock. Regular scarf, then rotated a few degrees, glued up and sanded to shape?
