Instead of fret markers I left the fret just above the fret marks as the reference point. This build is a 3 stringer with a 24" scale length and a Humidor ThinBucker pickup
Wayfinder..it`s all natural on the curly maple. That was the first coating of the dye. Next sand down the neck with 2000 grit. Hit with another coat of dye. Let dry and light sand..then start the finish. I`m using a lacquer. My first time using dye but not my last.

I think the ironwood will give a great contrast to the green dyed neck when it`s all done

Wayfinder.....a buddy from Facebook sent me some powder dye [ mix with warm water ] he got from the Fender guitar company. I got red color too
