  • Instead of fret markers I left the fret just above the fret marks as the reference point. This build is a 3 stringer with a 24" scale length and a Humidor ThinBucker pickup

  • Love the bone frets.,., and the artistic fretboard " full scallop " job .,.,reminds me of a candy shop.,.,gettin hungry.,.,!!

  • 306553110?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024I think the ironwood will give a great contrast to the green dyed neck when it`s all done

  • Wayfinder..it`s all natural on the curly maple. That was the first coating of the dye. Next sand down the neck with 2000 grit. Hit with another coat of dye. Let dry and light sand..then start the finish. I`m using a lacquer. My first time using dye but not my last.

  • Wow, Spring green!
  • Yeah!  Looks alive and looks great.

  • Wayfinder.....a buddy from Facebook sent me some powder dye [ mix with warm water ] he got from the Fender guitar company.  I got red color too

  • Wow, that is sweet!
