And don't these punters look like they are having the time of their lives!!! I think they were a train spotting club on a day trip to go chord spotting.
And by complete contrast...this is the sort of stuff I was up against. What a fecking tosser...I shun your guitar wankery posturing....no amount of pedal boards could make this crap sound interesting or exciting.
Yes, it was at New Bingley Hall. I did the show last year and had a good weekend. Surprisingly, this year was even better in terms of my takings..mind you they charged me a LOT more to be there. The guitars always create a lot of interest, and I usually get a pretty big crowd around the stand when I start playing. I sold guitars to all ages too, which was nice...buyers this year included a guitar teacher, a great young teenage blues player....and a seven year old little girl! I also had some great contacts for collaboration with artists, a filmmaker, photographer...and approaches from music shops.. it was pretty hectic but very productive.
It was really hard work, a lot of preparation and two solid days at the show, but we met some great people, some interesting contacts..and sold a few guitars as well!

Awesome, hope sales were through the roof!
Take a look at the video I've just posted to see what was going on over at my stand.
Reminds me of the Tussaud Beatles on the cover of Sgt. Pepper, all staring at the grave.
Didja plug one o' yer boxes in, and have a good ol' fashioned cuttin' session?
