Finished in the nick of time for Christmas. 1933 cigar box, sound hole was inspired by the artwork on the lid, mahogany neck, walnut fretboard and bridge.

Thanks UJ, Brian and Jerry. It sounds great! I was concerned because I had to brace up the inside of the box a bit, it was out of square and had some twist. I also went with a dovetail joint on the neck so it doesn’t have the extra wood there for support. It wanted to be tuned DADG, didn’t like any of the others. I forgot to mention in the description that it’s sporting a tapered neck. 1 1/8” at the nut to 1 5/8” at the 22nd.
That is purty much wonderful. I have never seen a box like that. You did it VERY proud. 2 for a nickel is old for sure. I love fours in DGBE, sometimes DGBD and more for electric, GDGB. How does she sound?
