1st a Shetland Gue try, then 3 stringer... just revisited after August 2018 and now I LOVE this as a diddley! On the road with me this weekend :) -Glenn

As always, beautiful work AGP#! Yep, sometimes re-visiting and re-doing, even of course as many do, cannibalizing gits laying or hanging around the shop is the best route. Cool, thx! -Glenn
I hear you Uncle John. Agreed. I also don't always use store bought pups but Gitty had a sale on so... Nice light pallet wood git, got it's own handle :) and meant for an amp. Could add a box but not needed. -Glenn
I am kind of speechless.... It's cool. It's interesting. It does not look like it would have started life as a one string.
Sometimes these builds know what they want if we can just listen to them talk to us. I built a 5 string banjo last spring and never put the high G sting on it. I planned to put it on. But the more I played it, the more it told me it wanted to be a four string guitar. And it is quite a good one. Now I need to cut off the neck spot where that short string tuner would have gone.

Done something similar with a 2 String Shetland Gue I built back in Apr 2016, modified it Jan 2023, now a 5 String Lyre :-)
Reminds me of a 1-string harp Glenn! A Diddley Harp? Brilliant…
