First Build

Super excited about completing my first instrument! Fretted 4 string with piezo pickup. Couldn't find any cigar boxes so I made a simple box myself. Neck is Meranti, a tropical hardwood that's pretty common in my country. Used the top four strings of a guitar and kept the tuning to EADG. Intonation is pretty good so far! Piezo pickup was too soft initially so I built a boost pedal into the body with a simple volume control (the dark brown knob). Looking to add a single coil soon so I can run it through some effects!

    Good looking first build, I also use Meranti for the Necks in some of my builds, it looks good, and is easy to work with.
