Now that looks better...lol. yeah having ridges and flat spots on your slide will produce different sounds. Thats why i like my bone slides compared to a perfectly round slide. Plus they look like their just busting out with delta mojo !!! If you want to get a smooth as glass area on your slide...i sand mine with 1000 grit sandpaper then add some lemon oil and buff it out.
