I want to try as many hardwoods for my necks as I can. My favorite part of this stuff is working with the wood to create a neck and head. It's fun experimenting with the tuners too! The one on the left is a piece of 5/4 maple rubbed with Danish oil. The center is an Ash closet rod with minwax semigloss spray poly. The other one is cherry rubbed with Danish oil.
