  • The neck is made of Southern Yellow Pine---plaster lath strips from my buddy's 1925 house. The pieces are 3/8 x 1-1/2 x 6" laminated with a 3" overlap. 7 strips gives enough for 2-1/4 string spacing at the bridge. The nut width is 1-11/16, the fretboard is flat, and the neck carve is "D" shape. Scale length is 25"
