    Well, it's actually 3 different scale lengths, so, you get more bass and intonation.  Yes, Toone has some great stuff on his site.

    Looks neat but seems difficult to construct with all though angles to cut for the frets. What is the objective of this fret layout... playing comfort, intonation?
