I took a photo of an ornament of a building and printed it out. Then I transfered it on a brass tin by ironing it. It was then put into an acid. The etching time of 30min was a bit too long, the ornament was etched through. Anyway I like this first attempt.

Good advice Johnny! That means the copper as the more noble metal went to the steel.. Let's see if that would work with brass as well although it's an alloy containing copper. Gonna try it..
Nice!i love the way its burnt through the plate... looks ancient. I used to do print making and if you do this on steel (i think with nitric) then add a piece of copper into the tray of acid the copper transfers onto and plates the steel.
hi Juju, I used the device of an electronic-club which they have for printboard making, with electric heating and air bubbles. I think it was Natrimpersulphate or so.
