It's 3 coats of Minwax Natural across both the poplar and the walnut. I use the natural on almost all my necks to a certain extent.
what type of wood/finish is the neck? looks really nice
That looks nice head and fret markers even the Fd up F holes turned out cool;-) Not a f up at all.

Really, those connected hole are kind of neat. Good that you sacrificed yourself doing the breaking playing for her too ;-)
