This is the first one I have made that the neck didn't pass right through so I don't know if it would have sounded better with a smaller hole lower down on the box or not. The strings are a medium gauge.
Very cool! So does that larger hole, and that up by the neck, work out to a fuller, low-end sound or ? Wondering how both of these features then cause it to compare with smaller/normal size hole? Oh, and what gauge strings for that G tuning? All of
that would affect the neck tension, why I'm asking. Sorry for all the q's here, love
your build! -Glenn

Nice build. Need to check a craft store here for boxes.

Okay then. Sweet.
This is tuned to open "G". The neck tension is great. The box is a craft store box with a picture to wood transfer.
Looks good. I see 4 metal strings, low action, and a set neck. What are you tuning it to? Is the tension okay on the neck joint?
Also, that's an awesome box.
