Thanks for the comments. They can sound tinny and when they do I just play around with the piezo until they give a nice deep sound. I also encase it in thin leather and use hot melt glue which gets rid of most of the feedback. I'll post a video of one being played.
Hey Barrry, I just gasped when I saw this one. Excellent. I like hub cap gits and I had a much loved, long lasting Dodge truck that had hubcaps much like that one, but with black lettering. The red looks better. Nice job placing that neck through the cap and nice job all around.

Way cool. Does the guitar sound tinney using a metal hub cap? I'll have to stary checking junk car yards for hub caps.
