It seems to work pretty good. Still a little sticking on that string, but a little graphite seems to help and should those screws ever get worn it will be real easy to fix which is why I decided to try this instead of the under the fingerboard channel.
I like this 5th String Arrangement as well. I once did a dulcijo with an under the fretboard string which later broke and I had a tough time butchering the neck to replace the string (couldn't route it through the under the fretboard string slot). I also had occasional problems re-tuning the instrument as the string would get hung up some how. This design eliminates all that. Next time, maybe I'll use this method.
