They are our biggest bird at the suit feeder. Spectacular warriors. Very weary but will come eat just 10 ft. From me if I'm quiet in the trailer in spite of the radio. It can eat a lot of suit in a short time. It can pound a tree to shreds in no time too. I love their call and color.
I could hear the Pilliated woodpecker today and there are geese on the water. A flycatcher too. Chipmunks are out and chasing each other. Rhubarb is 3 inches tall. No swallows here yet. Nesting chickadees in my bird house.

No purple martins here yet. Saw a kingfisher and flock of tree swallows.
