one of the problems some of the players were having with aluminum bodies, was sound waves doing to much bouncing around creating feedback when amp loud, Alumisonic enclosed the pickups, one or both depending... but they have no sound ports to unload the box..have you encountered any feedback problems with loud volumes?? have you tested?
No CNC machines or laser cutting here...handmade in the heart of the UK's metal-bashing zone, with plenty of signs of handworking still left on it. It came out of a truck body shop. I've seen the Normandy guitars, but they are too normal and safe looking for me...the Trussart metal guitars are a bit more like it.
I was studing aluminum guitars when I found the nation. If you punch aluminum guitars on the puter ,you will find alot of us are pursuing aluminum as a building material, Alumisonic guitar co. is one of my faves, also Normandy in the the archtop acustics. The CNC machines have taken over! I was overjoyed to find CBG nation with everbody building their own instruments [mostly] .. I have alot designs and ideas for building I want to share..not only aluminum.. looking for help to pursue ,.
