Thanks, Alan. Just in from the shed and 4 beers. Still have ten fingers and all my parts so far as I know. Like you, I often make my own box or use something other than a see gar-box! The build I am working on is a ho-made box intended for an LPG.
"Sweet Lookin' Little Box UJ", I actually pulled all my small Cigar Box's out of storage a couple of days ago, with the intention of using them, by joining them together somehow, putting timber surrounds on them, or incorporating them into a solid body build, as I always considered them too small for a stand alone build, put them back into the too hard basket, got side tracked and am doing a couple of other projects at the moment, BUT!, this sweet little critter might very well change my thoughts on those Cigar Box's being too small for a stand alone build. :-)

Me too, Kale. The top was flipped. What you see was originally the bottom of the top.
Nice lookin' git John. I like that box.
Rustified big bolt saddle. Neck and yard stick fret board reliced with some brown acrylic paint in Crisco Oil.
