Gone a bit stun-gun / sci-fi with these. Add ons were really to make the small-ish boxes a bit more practical by providing an arm rest, but as an added bonus, they balance on the lower point perfectly!Other stuff: Long scale (680mm), p bass pups, tone n vol on top edge ('Set to Stun'), adjustable bridges etc etc.

I've been able to balance out the top heavy tendencies by filling the whole body with pine - works great to strengthen it too. Only practical for magnetic pickup builds though...
that's different:)) did you make the bridges? they look the real deal...
a question of balance- a couple of my guits are 'top heavy' when using a strap, i was considering sticking a lump of lead in the box to counter this, any other suggestions.?

The angles really do help to spread out and balance a narrow box.
