  • Go for it Preach!

  • I have a few wine crates as well.  I'm thinking a 2-string bass for one; just need to start on it.  At least one is huge - maybe 6 bottles or so?  I'm intrigued by your success and maybe just the motivation I need!

  • I’m so taken back by the loud acoustic resonance I don’t know if I want to use up the 90+ cigar boxes on my shelves. Plus, I don’t smoke but I LOVE wine!
  • Great looking build, Bob! Clean and natural! Amen!
  • Thanks Alan, John and Dave.  I was going to cut it down because I thought it would be too cumbersome to play.  Glad I didn’t because it sounds great.  The bridge location gives it better acoustic resonance along with the size.  It’s really easier to hold and play than my Takamine or Ovation six stringers.

  • High marks! A beaut.
  • Very handsome.
  • "Very Nice Bob", love the natural look of the timbers,  :-)

  • Three bottle box from Fattoria Montecchio winery in Tuscany.  Brought it back four years ago around the time I started building CBG’s.  This is #41.  Great acoustic resonance.
