Commission Build. I don't usually like to do them, but was in a building mood. And I like the license plate. If I get time for another coat of tongue oil tonight, I can string it up tomorrow.Likely will need some tweaking. They most often do.

  • Mine was a '50 Studebaker Commander. $25.00 and I had to rebuild the engine before I could drive it.

  • Duck, I was kidding about the learners permit in 88.   Go my first car. a 49 Desoto in 1966 when I was 16.  $50.00. 

  • Dang kids! Bought my first car in '62, just a couple of months before I turned 16. Our son graduated from High School in '88.

  • Thanks Richey - youp the customer supplied the plate and I bought the fretboard,   I've made then myself and bought them,  The bought ones are better.
