This is by far the nicest looking design(to me) after looking at hundreds of others. With permission, I'd like to copy the F-holes and tobacco burst. I'm thinking about making a mahogany neck with a walnut fretboard. I'm may use 1/8" luan plywood for the body. I like a body that is least 10" X 12" so cigar boxes are not possible.
I'm too cheap to buy a resonator kit for $80 so I'll have to try a DIY'er resonator. What have you found to be the best one for a DIY? Thanks-Lowatter
Cohiba is my favorite box! I just wish I could find them more readily where I am. I'd use them a lot more. My personal favorite guitar is a Cohiba, in fact. I just love the sound it gives me.
