The Maddog came over to my place this afternoon for a fun visit and some good suggestions on 3 builds I have cooking. He brought the Cohiba along and I got to sample it. First off, that is a big box. Bigger than it looked to me here. Very nice fit and finish as with all Patrick's builds. The gold tuners, bridge, volume control and Elmar flat pup - good and good. But what stood ou most was playing it plugged in. HUGE Volume - warm and smooth.
That is a beauty, Patrick. Like it all and the volume knob was nice surprise.
River looks cold. Funny thing, yesterday was my driving day and the Boyer was iced up like that, but the Nishnabotna and Mosquito Creek were completely open.
