    LOL, thank you! no, they are real steel lead guitar strings, they offer them in different colors, and i got a set in green that is one gause set and the orange is a different gauge set. So not only do they differ in their tone they also have a different scale (2 inch difference), then you have the uncolored bass strings at far left.  Thanks again!

    i will be recording all day today on this, the 16 string chameleon #2 i made. I will post music and videos later today.
