put one of those wavily tuners in there. maybe a heavy finishing nail through right at the top to ease the break angle. nice work, just thinking out loud.
Thanks Daniel. I should have stretched the scroll out. It’s A little tight. The bass string is close to the nut. The angle of the string is too steep. It makes the tuner a bit hard to turn. But it works ok. This cello has the growl I was hoping for.
