I had this old beat up Silvertone banjo neck that was in need of repairs and decided to stick it on this box. It has a much quieter tone than a skin head but it's just right for backporch frailin'.

I tried frailing a couple years ago and did not get it. I don't have a banjo right now. Tried some lessons on youtube recently even without a banjo. Better lessons now. Crap. I may have to make a banjo. Would like to find a neck like you did. May look. -
Yes. And it sounds good as a factory made in Jim's video. Wish I could build cbgs, was rich, good looking and could frail a banjo. Well, at least I can build cbgs.
