Cutout and holes to enlarge the airspace in the thin box, not my idea hope it works.

    I think it works, but I don't have another just like it to compare to. The box is so shallow inside I wanted all the airspace I could get. I am making 2 more necks and I drilled even bigger holes, the strength is not weakened at all so way not. It also lightens it some. The finished guitar sounds good.

    I must confess it was Wes Yates who mentioned drilling the holes in the chat room, so here it is. I also shaved more off the back top than the front for some neck angle coming out of the box.
