Will, These are the shorter boxes. I think around 10" long. I am currently out of them. I know you had one of the longer ones in your pile last time. If you have the short one I would be glad to take it off your hands. I am heading to Sac. later this AM.
I put a lower E string from a classical acoustic git on the piccolo, put it in the 3rd string position and tuned it up to F and it sounds better. I may put acoustic git strings in position 1 & 2 also.
Thanks for the comments, UJ. I can always count on you for a good word. Yes, they are concert size and use CB Gitty necks to speed up the building process. I like using the parachute cord for temporary straps.

Will,
Thanks for looking. Those are a little too long. I have a couple of them.
Gary....The one I have is 11 1/4 X 6 3/4. Out on a day trip today and won't be back until about 6pm. Home all day on Thursday.
BTW, these ukes sound real good. I put a piezo in one of them so far.

They look real good, Gary. I think I have one more box for you.
Some of the cheap old guitars came with red or red and a 2nd color braided cord. I may try that.

Those look great, Gary. Concert sized? I just ordered some inexpensive parachute cords - a black and a red, intended for instrument straps;
