  • I'd like to hear more about how to play workshops, please keep me posted.
BTW I have a multi box dulcimer in the works thanks to your original idea.
  • Thanks, all! I am about giving up on shows. If I can't unload some with media hype and on consignment, I'll just build for kicks. Might do a few workshops on how to play for the complete novice.
  • Your work is so nice. If you didn't sell it wasn't because of the quality of the work, top drawer.

  • These are great.. Was this your first show and is there an opportunity to go back? I have noticed that I am developing a local market. My sales are increasing as the community becomes more aware of the products.
  • Nice display!!
  • Played til my fingers bled! Made other people play, handed the instruments to people passing by and showed them the comfy chairs . . .
  • I can be tough trying to make a sale...were you playing and demonstrating the instruments? I did a show this weekend, and managed to sell some stuff, although the room wasn't set up so I could demo the instruments, as there were there main stage performances going on in the same room, and then the demo spot I'd been allocated was dropped. Needless to say I wasn't too happy.
  • I think it was a bad choice of show. I'll only go for music shows from now on. Live and learn! They were tagged at $150, plus monstrous Chicago sales tax. Maybe that was the problem! 10.25%!
  • DIANE,,,very nic builds and displays...hopefully sales will pickup...
