Like our buddy Richey Kay, I'm growing partial to the banjo style bridges, and really like how the fret touches it off. Of course, I DO want to try my hand at building a 'buried rod piezo bridge' in the near future. Also, I know lots of folks on here who've used the 'zero fret' in place of the more traditional nut; thtat also intrigues me... so many design options! ;-) Guess I may have to ratchet up my "tinker factor" too!
Chick - yep. I recently saw this on another member's build, and liked it. It does have little notches filed in to hold the strings in position. I like it even more now! Kalmario - the overall action is a tad high, which probably helps it be played either slide or normal fretting. It plays pretty well! Pick - glad you like! Thanks all!
