Carved Black Walnut " dome " coverplate

Using one of Charles Atchison`s small cones. The aluminum one will be switched out for one of his new brass cones in the end. Thinking of stars and half moons for the soundholes. Also inlayed turquoise ring around the opening, add a bit of bling.

    On second, thought.  Yeah.  That cover will be great.  I had looked at the full git without cover and it looked so good that way.  The cover will make it more unique.

    Talkin with DB this morning, he gave me the suggestion of stars and half moons. Yeah Keni Lee does have a reso with that look of cover plate, I think the box has a star and moon as sound holes too.

    You've given me a good idea for the sound holes on a pot lid git I am working on.  Seems like I saw Keni Lee Burgess with that kind of sound holes some time ago.

    Good idea on the sound holes.  Got to say, I like the look without the cover too.
